Actress Bianca Umali is looking forward to pursuing higher education after making her cousin Samantha’s schooling a priority.
Umali talked about her plans while appearing on Kara David’s “i-Listen,” revealing that she is choosing between an interior design program and a course at a major university.
The actress admitted that she has yet to make a final choice but said she is excited about the possibility of becoming a student again.
She explained that financing her cousin’s education was important to her because she wanted to give back to her grandmother and extend the opportunities she herself had received.
Umali said supporting both herself and Samantha at the same time would have been ideal, but the cost of education made that arrangement difficult.
She also believes that people should not feel that they are too old to return to school.
The actress graduated from senior high school in 2019 and was raised by her grandmother, Lola Vicky. She lost her mother at five years old and her father at 10.
Umali recently portrayed Terra in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” and is slated to voice Ella Arcangel in an upcoming animated film.
