QUEZON CITY — Preparations are underway at Araneta City for the installation of its iconic giant Christmas tree and other holiday decorations ahead of the 2026 Christmas season.
Workers have started assembling the towering Christmas attraction and putting up colorful lights and festive installations around the Smart Araneta Coliseum and nearby commercial establishments, signaling the start of another holiday celebration at the commercial and entertainment hub.
The annual display has become a familiar Christmas tradition for generations of Filipinos, drawing families, shoppers and visitors eager to witness the lighting of the giant tree and experience the festive atmosphere.
Araneta City is also preparing various holiday activities and attractions across the complex to complement the Christmas display and provide entertainment for visitors of all ages.
The annual Christmas tree installation is among the anticipated holiday attractions in the Quezon City commercial district, which has long been associated with large-scale Christmas celebrations.
