MANILA – Easterlies will continue to bring warm and humid weather throughout the Philippines on Friday, PAGASA said.
According to its early morning forecast, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, the Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, and Davao Oriental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and other parts of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA also flagged dangerous heat levels in 11 areas, with Dagupan City expected to reach a heat index of 43°C. Ten more areas, including Tuguegarao City, Iba in Zambales, and Iloilo City, may see heat indices of up to 42°C.
The weather bureau noted that no low-pressure area is currently being tracked for cyclone formation. Light to moderate winds and seas are expected nationwide.
