MANILA – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said fair weather conditions will prevail across the country on Monday.
Weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said temperatures will remain warm in many areas, particularly around midday when heat levels are expected to rise.
Still, isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may develop due to localized weather activity.
Forecasts indicate that temperatures could reach as high as 35°C in Tuguegarao, while Zamboanga City and Davao City may see highs of 34°C.
The heat index may climb to 42°C in Dumangas, Iloilo, reflecting the combined effect of humidity and air temperature.
In Metro Manila, the heat index is expected to range from 37°C to 38°C.
Dominguez also said no tropical cyclones or low-pressure areas are currently being tracked within or near the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Light to moderate winds will continue across the archipelago, with sea conditions expected to remain slight to moderate.
