MANILA — Several weather systems continue to influence the country, bringing varying rainfall conditions across Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, according to PAGASA’s Friday forecast.
The shear line is affecting the eastern portion of Southern Luzon, particularly the Bicol Region and Northern Samar, where cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected. PAGASA warned of possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall.
Easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains over Eastern Visayas, while the northeast monsoon will bring rains to Aurora, Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Quezon.
Metro Manila and nearby regions, including Cagayan Valley and the Cordillera, are forecast to experience light rains, while the rest of Luzon may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
PAGASA also warned mariners in Northern Luzon of rough seas as strong northeast winds prevail, urging small sea vessels to exercise caution.
