MANILA – The northeast monsoon will continue to influence weather patterns in the Philippines, causing light rains over several regions, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported Saturday.
In its 4 a.m. update, PAGASA said Bicol, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Dinagat Islands are likely to experience cloudy skies accompanied by light rainfall.
Metro Manila and other areas across the country are forecast to see partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain showers.
Meanwhile, strong winds and rough seas are expected over Northern Luzon and eastern parts of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Visayas. The eastern section of Mindanao, as well as the remaining parts of Luzon and the Visayas, will face moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds and calmer seas
